Dear Kindness Heroes,
Thanks to your generous giving of your time, talents and donations, 2023 has been a marvelous year of new inroads and successes for American Civility Association.
With your help, we have funded programs and books to reach over 1000 previously unreached children, teens and families. Some were found through after-school clubs, community events, and now including new opportunities at charter schools. We have continued our work at several area high schools, middle schools and elementary schools and added new connections on our wish list. Thanks to you!
In 2023, our ACA reach grew to include providing Kindness Education books and Mental Health Infusion programs like Precious NOT Prickly, Do Unto Otters, The Art of Good Relationships, Happiness 101 to children and teens attending area charter schools and summer camps, as well as to parents and grandparents through specialized events for adults and families.
Today, there are hurdles our teens and children face that many of us did not, like the ups and downs of social media and artificial intelligence. However, our neuro-science based proven programs provide vital coping tools and opportunities to build coping skills and positive decision making tools, so children and teens may thrive and enjoy life in changing and difficult times.
Your support has anchored the success of American Civility’s efforts to end bullying and prevent childhood suicide for another 1000 plus children and their families during 2023, and it is with great joy, mountain-sized hope, and enormous gratitude we say thank you for all the ways you have made this possible.
Your continued support is critical as our momentum continues to grow, so we thank you now , in advance for your continued support. There’s lots of hope for our children and teens to secure a future better than their hopes and dreams, and for your too. Let’s continue to answer the call for creating a better world, as we band together to bring more kindness and gratitude, hope and love.
Sincerely,
Amy Barnett
